Stanadyne/Roosamaster DBG629 (six cylinder with .29" diameter pump pistons) all work pretty much the same. Most common failure is the plastic weight retainer ring on the flyweight governor. Causes the internal pump pressure to rise too high - which neuters the charge fuel pressure - and results in a "no injection" situation. Will start, run, and die . . over and over.

Post your actual problem and maybe someone can guess at the fix.
 
thanks for reply. pump off Farmall 460D, about "59 or "60. Been sitting for almost 2yrs non-running, but have cranked over. had wiring problem, the least of worries now. Always ran good, but while working on recently no fuel to injectors, seems no fuel at all. Timing marks do no move, and read that meant broken IP shaft. Salvage guy I called asked why did shaft break, and told him don"t know, just that i saw no timing marks moving. He said something in the pump is locked, take the pump off and look at things...... ???
 
There are two timing marks in the timing window. The one on the rear is used for the advance and will not move when cranking. The front one is on the weight retainer and sometimes is not marked very well. Are you sure the front part is not turning while cranking the engine?
 
I assume by front you mean closest to front of tractor. I am fairly confident that front one is not turning. Took the Gov control cover off and sucked out ruby red fuel, and filled w/ Seafoam (read trying that in a post somewhere). However, also took the timing hole cover off, and nothing appeared to turn. There was visible timing mark on the rear, appeared to be right in the center. No visible timing mark on front, but a small blotch which did not move. Also, no signs of debris, things looked clean as far as what you could see. Also, there appears to be diesel fuel in the crankcase.
