FFA national convention

just got back from national convention in indianapolis today. had a great time and got to hear some pretty good speakers. also got to see a restored Case 530 diesel. cant wait for next year in louisville!

I got to go in '75.Saw Col.Sanders,Tanya Tucker,Nelson Rockefeller,Jerry Clowers,and a host of other famous folks.An unforgettable/unbelieveable experience for a shy naieve country boy from a small town.You will not forget,either....

Went in 76 got to See Tanya Tucker and Jerry Clower and a few other I don't remember. We also went to the American Royal stock show

I also went in 1976 and had the amazing opportunity to ride the elevator with Tanya Tucker. Never realized what a big deal she was then.

Had the opportunity to attend in 1958. Seen one of our chapter members receive his American Farmer Degree. Also toured a steel company and saw them making large steel billets and then rolling steel to small diameter sizes.

Seth Pratt was a really good speaker. they had another concernt but we didnt buy tickets. but that was O.K. because i dont really like the people they had. it was also on of our ag teachers last time to go.

I went twice once in '05 (last year in Louisville) and in '07. The '05 trip was an absolute blast as we drove from Wyoming and did a lot of stuff. '07 was still lots of fun but we made it to the finals in Parli Pro so spent a lot of time doing practice in between rounds.

Had the opportunity to the be organist for the FFA Convention in Kansas City in 1965. Will never forget the experience and am very thankful that I did have the opportunity.
