Been helping a neighbor fill his silos for the past couple of days. We'll be cutting for the next week or so with a Claas chopper, and fill five uprights and a bunk. It's a beautiful farm, but hilly as all hell. Yesterday, Sam Sr. busted a tie rod and destroyed a spindle on one wagon. I got there this morning, and one wagon broke loose from up on the top of a hill and wound up in a ditch about two hundred yards down the hill- loaded! There isn't much salvagable on the wagon. Then, a front came through this afternoon and stopped us about three. Plus, the deer have destroyed a lot of corn in more than one field. But, overall, it's a good year, and we'll both have crop left for a combine. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
