WAY, O/T, Windows 7 help needed.

Bought this puter a month ago, online, ebay, yes, I know (lol!) but anyway, when you are on here, or ytmag in general, Craigslist, and possibly otheres, it stopped marking the topic of the post, or changing the color of the topic of the post to a darker color. If that makes sense? Anyone got an idea how to fix that. It makes it irratating, to not see wha posts you have already read. Thanks!

Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, and running IE 9.

Download another browser and install it. Firefox would be a good one. If it works that way than remove IE and reinstall it. That is the best I have to offer.

Open Internet explore, go to Internet Options, go to advanced, go to Content, go to Web files/slices and choose settings. Check mark the one about highlighting threads already viewed.

By the way, everytime I see your handle I think back to my first car. There was an outfit in Toledo OH by that name that painted cars. I had mine painted, $29.95.

That was a national outfit. "I'll paint any car for twenty nine ninety five." Sometimes you could make out the species of bug they painted over.

I've been experiencing somewhat the same issue, and it started way back when I was using a Gateway computer running Windows XP and IE as the browser. I am now using a Dell, running Windows Vista, and Firefox as the browser, and I still experience the same thing occasionally, but not always.

I don't think it has anything to do with the computer, or which version of Windows, or which browser. I think the problem lies with the individual websites. Way more glitches on this particular site than any others I use on a regular basis.

My computer will do that ever so often,I run CC cleaner and that fixes it until it happens again in about a month.

just wondering why anyone would reinstall Internet Exploder? If you can get rid of it get rid of it! Firefox works great (been using it for years), Tried Chrome and it also works great and the best thing is both are FREE! and don't come from MicroSHAFT!
