Some interesting stuff here.

Thanks, lots interesting stuff.Nice MM 2!!! Curious what kind of picker that is in pic 21, also did they haul off those red combines and grain truck to the scrap, pic 25 and some following ones??? What combines were they? Anyone knows??
Thanks in advance, Ralph in OK.

Interesting stuff, you got that right! I have seen junkyards with less vehicles than that. While most of the equipment looks like it has possibilities, most of the cars and pickups look like they are about ready for the crusher. Salvage a few parts off some, and a few look like they could be totally restored. Bet that would be interesting to attend. Thanks for posting. I'll never be able to purchase anything like that, but I still like to look.

Ralph, that picker is one of 2 brands . One being a Woods Bros . Sold by Ford dealers as well as others . Probally made in Des Moines , Ia.
Other possibilty , mite be a Belle City , made in Racine Wi. Same Co. as Belle City Threshing Machine Co. they were painted grey, Woods were red. Both were decent rigs for there time. Notice that it is a left hand picker. clint

One bad thing is the pictures look like they were taken in early spring/late fall, won't see much from the weeds now at the sale. chris

Looks like a Woods Bros. picker. I ran one for years, good machine, never had any major problems with it. Wonder what the Ford Cabover brought?

Hard to know, the sale hasn't happened yet.

The gray ones are rare. I have a gray one and it has a sticker/decal on it that says "Made Exclusively for Harry Ferguson".
