baby carrots for my baby

my daughter is a vegetarian,she likes baby carrots ,so I tried this year to grow some for her, (my baby is 19 years old)

I am a vegetarian as well. Have been for 53 years. Carrots are one of my favorite vegetables. Save some for me!

hello, my wife and I are happy for your response, My girl has been for several years, As parents what concerns should we have with her choice to be vegetarian,it is always good to hear from someone with years of experience.

Larry, I wish my carrots were that big. I got 65 acres of carrots.
This dry spell is sure getting old. Also they do better in cool weather. Wish it would cool down a little.

Serious question here: how do you collect enough carrot seed to plant 65 acres? And what kind of machine can tweeze the things into a furrow? There's a lot about agriculture I don't know.

I buy all hybrid seed. About 15 thousand dollars worth.
Specialty planter. There are various types and brands.

If she still eats milk and cheese then she can get her calcium needs met. Iron she should be getting through many types of beans.

I have a daughter-in-law that is a vegan. She will not eat any animal product, no milk or cheese. She almost died when she was pregnant. Her vitamin levels where all out of whack. My son still eats a mostly normal diet. He refuses to let her feed the kids her vegan diet. He wants them to have a more normal diet while they are young.
