ot/road trip stops?

We just got done with our first crop hay,so we decided to take a trip to see my dad. He lives in Bella vista Arkansas.so we are taking a road trip. We are taking 39to 55 to 44 from wi to Arkansas,is their any good spots to stop at along that route,junk yards,big farm dealers,etc.also is their any spots to stay away from.

When you're in Ark, be sure to go to Crystal Bridges art museum in Bentonville. No tractor pics there, but you can see Rosie the Riveter and an amazing collection of American art. Free admission. I like the place because Sam Walton's daughter outbid a lot of art snobs and built an amazing collection right here in hillbilly country.
 
May not be of interest to you, but the Daisy BB gun museum in Rogers, AR is interesting. BB guns go way back, and some were even used in wars a long, long time ago.

Springfield IL is Lincolns tomb, and a lot of history. The arch in St. Louis can be seen as you cross into MO on I-55/70. You can do a search for
(things to see and do along the road) will give you places to stop for the kids to let off some energy.
 
Took the Kids to Hannibal Mo and did the Tom Sawyer thing including the caves, the kids had fun. Merrimac Caverns, and Silver Dollar City in Southern Mo.
 
Big Jessie James cave west of Joplin, cant remember the highway number. Cheep trout fishing just south of Cassville Missouri at the hatchery. Then there is the tourist trap east of Bella vista, something Springs Ark. Sorry cant remember the first part of the name.
