Look what followed me home, not green...

Looks like I jumped ship! Found this in a barn 2 miles from home. Knew there were a couple things in there, just didn't know for sure. Good looking little guy. Not sure if this VC is going to turn me into a diehard Case guy, but it's pretty neat. Wonder if this orange is the same as what was on my 2590, "Power Red" from CIH? It has a tire size I've never heard of, something like a 9.2-32 or something. I've changed all my other tractors to 12V. Not sure if this one would look right though, that dang generator is hanging right out there. Love the wheels, cool cast light mounts and swept back radiator cap. Wife does not know yet. The VC might not be happy parked with the Olivers or IH's, but maybe it would be happy parked by the Kubota in the orange corner!

Oliverguy,

That's a real pretty tractor. I hope you have a lot of fun with it.

On another note, it looks like you have pretty well rented out all of the space on top of your work bench. Do you still have more space "For Rent"?

The orange doesn't look right, maybe it is just your lighting. The correct color would be "Flambeau Red" Which is the predecessor to "Power red".

Oh cr*p, now I have you guys and my wife on me for the bench! Mental note, take pictures without junk in the background and unused signs...

nice looking tractor!!! and....is that an air conditioner thru the wall there.....must be nice!!!

[i:654c4848f0]Just make the bench longer and it won't look so bad. [/i:654c4848f0]

Till it fills up again, in 3, 2, 1...

(Nice looking tractor)

I think this last guy bought it at an auction 11-12 yrs ago. I've known him for awhile, two of my other tractors came from him about 6 yrs ago from a different farm. Never know what people have stashed away.

You can send that six volt generator off and have it converted to a 12 volt. No one will be able to tell by looking at the generator. I'm not home now, so can't give you the place to send it.

You'll love that little gal. I had two of them, only mine were VAC.

They're gutty little things. We even ran an Allis Chalmers 5' combine with one. The neighbors swore it wouldn't do it.

You've certainly made a remarkable purchase because the VC was only in production for about one year.(1940) The VA series followed from about 1942 to 1955. Yours has a Continental engine as do a few VAs to follow but then Case replaced it with their own engine. Congratulations and it looks to be absolutely new!

That little Case will be fine in with the Olies. Good tractors like to hang out with each other. Not sure about parking with IHs though (ha ha just kidding.. )
