Just a little followup on the post I made the other day about my compuker not starting up. Computer place called and said it was the power switch. He's doing a diagonstic on it too but the switch was the main culprit. The bill is $61.00 and some cents. Whew!!! Quicken is backed up on a separate hard drive every time I close it but I did have some spreadsheets that have not been backed up currently so I'm very glad to hear nothing was lost. About a month ago I made a post about BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP. This scare is the reason why. Have a good one.

Now I've been on Marilyn's laptop for a few days and I'm beginning to like it. Jim

How does anyone ever learn to LIKE a laptop? I've got one and use it occasionally, but I just can't ever get in a comfortable position to use it.

(quoted from post at 09:16:34 02/22/12) I have found that a wireless keyboard and mouse helps a lot.

Yes, the wireless mouse is an absolute "must have". A wireless keyboard is under consideration.

The keyboard on Marilyn's laptop is more friendly to my big oversized fingers. Seems like I'm not typing two letters at the same time as much. I do not like wrist angle required to use her laptop nor do I like the smaller screen. The desktop has a remote keyboard and mouse and I never thought of transferring them to her computer. Oh well, can't think of everything. Jim

After having a desk top and a laptop, I will never have another desktop. But thats just me. Matter of fact I am sitting in my recliner as I am posting.

Couldn't get the desktop to fit on my lap. lol
