75-125 HP Tractor with FWA for around $10k?

Is there such an animal? Something I can hang a loader on and feed cows and possibly make hay with? I have just about every dealer within 50 miles or so.

It'd hafta be old as heck for that price range I think. Rather
have a 30 year old tractor with less hours than a 10 year old
with a zillion.

You should be able to find something in that price range, I`m a deere man for the most part, and deere did not build a very good FWA until the **40 and **50 series, and they hold there value well enough that most will be well out of your price range.

There is.... but I'll raise you 20K to get it in working order. If you move closer to the 15-20K bracket you'll find something that will probably last you a little while.

Here in my area you can get a 966 - 1466 without a cab and FWA but with a loader in the $5000 - $12000. John Deere 4230 or 4430 with cab but no FWA for around $7000 to $17000.

only thing I can think of would be a White 2-105 with FWA but you would be hard pressed to find one for under 10k.

I would be looking for a Deutz (or Deutz-Allis). Example: DX4.70.

You can also find SAME and Belarus tractors for cheaper, but trying to find parts for those is probably downright impossible.

If you budget $15,000 your options open up quite a bit (even into the dark green paint territory).

Every once in a while I see in the fastline big 4wds over a 100 for pretty cheap, usually an AC, case white hesston ect, very rarely a JD ford or IH , Also check out tractor house . Com

Hesston or a Fiat Hesston, good tractors, just never caught on, you should be able to find a good FWA model in the 80 H.P. range for that money. Most of the ones I have seen have been in Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas or Missouri.

You might find a decent AC 6080 for that kind of money. Their reputation varies depending on who you asked. The only other possibilities are White, Case, and Ford but what you will typically find in the 10,000 dollar range is something that is marginal at best, money pit at worst. As everybody else said the possibilities open up greatly when you jump to 20,000 dollars.

I said basically the same thing, however I don't think
U could get a ford that cheap. Most 56, 66,77,82 ,10s 4wds go for pretty high, and the tws seem to be higher. Maybe a mechanics special goes for cheap, but most good fords bring good money.

I think you can maybe find a good 6080 FWA Allis for 15000. I have a 6060 bought it new and have had good luck with it. A 6070 would be just as good, same tractor fuel just turned back. Vic

It's been five years ago now but I bought a Ford 8010 (96 pto hp) fwd with loader at around 4000 hrs. for $15000. Now, even doing my own work on it I've put at least $3000 into it, mostly seals, alternator, water pump.

Anything is possible, but it would be a fixerupper for that money. Check out the Craigslist areas around you, or the CL national search engine, or put a wanted ad of your own.

To bad your not in York, PA. There's a Kubota m105s with loader for $13,700.00. It's listed on the tractors forsale page on this site. Check it out.

I-T-D, Do some looking,,, 5 yrs ago I priced out a 65 HP Mahindra 4x4, Open station, with a loader New off of the lot @ Liberty Hill, Tx. @ Bills Tractor, Mahindra's largest Dealer nation wide at about $20K.
That tractor should be in the 15K range or less now. Should fill your needs nicely! Tractor could be hauled on a x-wide utility trailer not so terrible bulky to use or operate in a tight space.
Hope this helps.
Later,
John A.

I bet that Kubota falls under the old saying "if it sounds to good to be true it's probably a lie". Dead giveaway to scam is no phone # listed.

You can find something like a 7700 Ford for that kind of money but it will fall in the category of barely usable. Some people don't mind taking a chance on a tractor in that condition. Some people luck out and don't have to do major work on them. Get along with the poor tires and paint till you can afford to deal with it. The area I live in is not strong on Ford so they can be had reasonable other than low hour cream puffs.
Usually a couple auctions come along each spring where a good 6080 is available. Sometimes you may have to drive a hour or two to bid but usually you have a good chance of hitting the 10,000 dollar objective.

Chris, do you need that much hp? I have a friend that has Ollie MFWD's. He has a 1650 with a loader, that the hyd's runs off a seperate pump the front of the engine, rather than the main hydraulics. I know that sucker sure started and ran good. He also has a 1850 with a loader. He 2050's, 2150's, 1950's, all with MFWD, 3pt, the usual. Text me if you want his number he may be willing to sell a few as they cut back on acres. I would say he would have one for $10,000

...but you generally do not get MFWD on a Ford 7700. If you do, you get the OBSOLETE carraro with the devil transfer box and the side drive axle. Having that beast could easily be a plan for a 2WD tractor if something did go wrong.... as is want to happen with loader tractors.
You will not touch a MFWD 7710 with loader for under 20K that you ~want~ to own. You could get a heap of heartache for les money.
The other side of an older model than the 10 series is that you get the 8x2 crashbox which is not a desirable loader transmission...

I was thinking the same- they've wised up enough not to offer it for something totally ridiculous like $4,500, like they used to, but still looks like a great deal.

The ad is already gone.

10,000 or less will easily get a low hours decent shape 74 PTO HP 825 Belarus with cab AND a loader that is worth more than the tractor.

If you can go to 72 PTO HP you might get an IH 884 with SIMS cab, 2250 loader and ZF fwa if you look careful, might be rough around the edges.
