Yes the henrys are nice looking but still prefer the older winchesters and Marlins

I have a couple of Henry's. They are my favorite guns, but I have been trying to find a 22 octagon barrel pump for over three months.
No dealer that I can find has one or can even order one. I E-Mailed the factory, got a quick response, said that it was one of their hottest selling guns and they wouldn't be available until late Feb. or March.

I've got two of the Henry .22 lever actions. Standard size and boy's rifle. For a new gun - they're great. Excellent customer service also. A real person on a USA phone that speaks North-American-English.
The new Henry's aren't near the level of craftsmanship of my old Marlins and Winchesters - but for new shooters are great guns.
I don't think anybody has ever made a better .22 lever-action then Marlin. Same with big bore. Marlin #1 and Winchester #2 in my opinion. I've got the Marlin .444, .35, and several 30-30s.

I bought a golden boy 22 for a special friend for Xmas. I Tried to get a brass 30-30 but no way did any one have one.
That little 22 carbine with the 16 inch barrel is the cutest little thing. I might buy one for myself just to look at.
They are high priced and not much of a collector item right now, but they might be in the future.

Our tractor club raffled a Henry .22 lever action for a fundraiser. They ran a 100 production with our county's heritage for Kentucky's bicentennial. Henry also engraved our club name into the one we purchased. It was a very nice looking gun.
