Gear oil leaking from rockshaft ends

I have a "52 Model A JD with a leak. It looks like rearend oil is running out of the rockshaft seals and the 2 uppermost powertrol housing bolt holes. It isnt powertrol oil and the powertrol works like it should. I know the bull gears would carry oil up toward the top of rearend housing but how would that oil get in the bore that the rockshaft sits in in order to leak out?

Are you sure it's not powertrol oil? Is the transmission overfull? If not, it must be hydraulic oil since the rockshaft area acts as a reservoir for the powertrol pump. If an extra reservoir, for a manure loader for instance, is added then oil can leak out of the ends of the rockshaft.

If it"s rear rend Oil, then your trans/rear end
is full of engine oil or water. & there"s a leak
between the powertrol resivoire & rear end end.
