super M pump

i have a farmall 1952 super M, it has the belly pump hydraulics,..would like to put the live hydraulics like the 53 has,...will the pump off a 53 fit the 52 and if so is there anything else i have to change...

As memory serves me, there is a slight difference in the pump mounting bolt patterns.

the 52 has the later style timing cover that will accept the live pump. the very late m's and the stage 1 supers were set up with the heavier camshaft gear and the newer style covers , so it will be a direct bolt in.

yes it will work fine with no modifications.
