I see on here all to often that people just dont
enjoy buying or selling stuff on the internet.
And that i can understand, i have a few bad
stories also. I just thought id share a pleasant
experience i had.
A the end of swathing wheat and oats this year i decided that i would try to find a newer unit for
next year, i thought one with a hydro and cab
would make it much easier and more comfortable. I
have been running a 15 foot Deere 800 and figured
a 2320 Deere would be about the best upgrade i
could afford.
Much to my surprise i came across a 2320 with cab
and air and 18 foot head about 300 miles away. I
talked to the gentleman and he emailed me pics.
It looked good so about 5 days later i finally
made it up to look at it and was even better than
described. I bought it and he agreed to drive it
to town so it could be loaded at the dealer. I
then went home to try and find someone to truck
it.
I posted my 800 on the net and had one guy call
and set a time to look at it, he called to confirm
then never showed. Next call came from a nice
gentleman from quite a distance away. I emailed
him alot of photos of it and talked to him a bunch
on the phone. He liked it, bought it, and i
loaded it on a truck for him.
Sorry for the long post but i figured id post a
good buyer/seller story.
First pic is my old 800 loaded up and leaving the
yard. Second pic is my 2320 loaded up to come
home. (a friend hauled it so i rode with)
