Gee, ya think?

"Case orange rim from a 2470"- you could show a thousand farmers that rim, and not a single one would ever describe it that way. Unless you "talk farm", you're probably not a farmer- and if you're not a farmer, you sure don't need a 2470 rim.

All the scammers do is cut and paste the heading of the ad and include it in their email.That's the way Mark had it listed.

Scam? Do 'ya think???

If you bother to reply, ask him where he is at in Hawaii and offer to fly over and take care of his wife while he flies to your place to pick up the wheel.

Seriously, it's pretty simple. If someone claims they are sending you more than your asking, you should immediatly see the red flag running up the pole.

It is apparent to me that you are asking way to little for that rim. If someone who vacations in Hawaii and has his own financial manager wants to buy your Orange Case 2470 rim you must have it priced way to low.

If that's not a scam, I'll be in the white house after the next election! If these people really want to be successful at scamming someone, they need to take a course on business correspondence.
I keep getting these phone messages telling me that they can lower the interest on my credit cards, one day I pushed the button to actually talk to someone. First requirement, you must owe at least a thousand dollars on a card. I asked where they were located. Somewhere in Florida. I asked for a street address. Was told that the street address would be on the paperwork that they would send me. When I told him that I owed less than a thousand dollars, the Sweet Old Boy hung up on me! I dialed the number that showed and it was not a good number! Sound suspicious?

or you could play with him for a little while it would be good for international relations, i'm certain that this is an overseas goodwill endeavor {G}
there is a web site that does just that and they put the results on the net Very Funny

It's a wonder it wasn't signed "Ben Dover".

(In the course of writing a paper for a "Business Correspondence" class in college, I created a used car lot called "Ben Dover Auto Sales. I don't think the prof even caught on).

Has the usual hallmarks, same as every other one that has appeared on here with a few variations. It is talking to you... scam..
