18.4X42 tractor rear price

Thoght I'd never ask this question on this forum but I can't find any ads to compare prices with. What are 18.4X38 Goodyear tractor tires with about 30% tread worth? I assume they're 1 star.

Had a DA attack this morn and slashed a dual on the 4650. All the rears are about 30% and I thought I'd run them till next spring and then replace them. Well, 'next spring' came today and the ol girl now has four new shoes on the back. Couldn't find a used one anywhere on short notice .

The dealer wanted $50 to dispose of them but they're too good for that and besides, why pay when I can collect instead? They'll be advertised locally so I don't have to ship them anywhere.

I've never wrecked a tractor rear in my life and now in the past week two of them have bit the dust, one on the 630 and one on the 4650. If this happens in threes like other calamaties, I'm gonna go broke!!! Thanks, Jim.

if you dont plan to sell them just put them on as a free tractor tire ad on craigslist. thats how i got rid of my old tractor tires and you will be suprised of how many people want them. ive heard every reason for some one wanting old tractor tires.

just took a set of junk 11x28 to a auction yesterday on junk rims with good paint 1 flat 1 with air $190.00 for the pair

Where I live it's 100% ag and this 160+ horse 4650 is a relatively small tractor for this area. Most farmers would use a horse this size to pull sprayers and planters so there is a need for tires this size for duals.

I was feeling kind of bad for paying $1500 apiece till I talked to my neighbor who is shopping for new 18.4X46's. He was quoted something in the area of $6000 for the pair! Jim
