Im hoping that I can use a 281 piston kit to over haul kit . In the engine . I was hoping someone else had the same ideal. Its going a puller not a farm tractor.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Heres what Dennys Carburetor has http://www.external_link.com/contents/en-us/p352.html
They advertise in Red power magazine if you get that also .
There a start for you .

tstarr The 248 should have a 4.125 bore with the liners pulled out unless I am mistaken. Haven't used a 248 block. The 264 and 281 have 4.250 without the liners. You should be able to use 4.125 pistons with just honing the 248 block. We bore the 264 and 281 to 4.310 and use Murphys kit. Have to measure the 248 and see what it is. Lynn
