In a stock engine regardless of manufacture does one gain anything by having the cam reground for pulling? Considering factors that the rest of the engine is in good shape, compression etc. I would figure that over that course of time the pistons, sleeves and valves may have been serviced but not the cam. If one was to send out a cam to a grinder and told them that the engine specs were stock would they just polish it up or actually change the profiles since it was to be used for pulling. What do you guys think, worth having it ground? Just curious as I have never had any cams sent out.
