Anyone use oxygenated fuels?

I know it's a fairly common practice with trucks but I am curious if anyone has ever tried oxygenated fuels in a pulling tractor.

What were your results?

Thanks

I learned from my many years of auto drag racing that you can mix a small amount of acitone in your gasoleene and it helps it atomize better and makes alittle bit of imporovement in power. It also should make alittle difference in fuel milage also. As for tractor pulling, I use it in my fuel because the gas now is garbage and it needs qll the help you can find. BUT DONT USE TOO MUCH MIX.

many are using e85 but the problem is that the blenders use poor quality gasoline to blend with the ethanol, some are getting straight ethanol and mixing it with 92 octane premium or race gas

We have used it for many years, It makes more power for sure. But it has very little petrol. in it So, you will get rust build up in your chambers and the valves if the tractor sits for a time. You have to fog the chambers with diesel fuel so you will not get the rust.
