Oliver 550 hydraulic oil fill/check

I have an Oliver Super 55 and it has the one port for adding fluid for the transmission and it has a second port with a dipstick for the hydraulic fluid. I purchased a 1960 550 and it only has the one port for the transmission. Also, the hyd filter is between my knees. Can someone advise on how I check and fill the hyd fluid? I am not able to figure it out. Thanks!

Your 550 should have a dip stick & filler port on the right side of the
transmission cover kind of under the seat.
 
The best money you can spend when buying a tractor you are not familiar with is an operators manual. The best place to buy Oliver manuals is The Floyd County Museum in Charles City Iowa.
 

I figured it out. The cap looks like one of the breathers and is hard to get off. Thanks for the tip on an owners manual.
