White/Iseki 2-65 4x4 maintenance

My father-in-law recently purchased a white 2-65 4x4 with front end loader.

We're about to replace all the fluids ready for winter, just looking for any tips or advice specific to this model?

Also, re the power steering f-i-l says its not working great right now but thinks its an air blockage...

Apparently previous owner forgot to put the plug back in and the fluid drained out and then had to be topped up. F-i-l thinks its just an air blockage that needs bleeding out, how would I do this, and is there an easy way to diagnose the cause if bleeding does not work?

Sorry I cant help you, but I just learned they werent
made by Fiat like a 2-60 ! Id get a manual if you can.
That way you always have it for reference.

Thanks, we do have the manuals, just wondering if anyone had any tips that weren't in the manuals lol

My dad has that tractor. I doubt it is
air in the line. It's lasted a long time,
but tough to work on... everything is
packed in there tight. I think he has
replaced power steering pump before. I'll
ask and get back to you.

Thanks, he said he doesn't hear any strange noises, it's just hard to turn.

Also, we noted issues with the lights not working, does the power steering also use electrical power? If so how to test that?

White 2-65 is an Iseki tractor produced in japan. Has an isuzu {?} engine that is nearly impossible to wear out. The steering on a 4x4 can be very expensive
to repair, or was 20 years ago when my employer had one to repair. For parts try Blue Ridge Diesel at 540-759-7417

No, the electrical has nothing to do with
the pump. The pump is mechanical. It is
a vane pump run off of the timing gears I
believe. Jack the front end off the ground
and see if you can steer it back and forth
to get any air out if indeed that's the
case.

Thank you, how long would you expect it to take to crank the air out? A friend of mine suggested it could take hours of cranking the steering.

We don't actually know how long it was out of fluid.

We downloaded a shop manual and discovered there is a bleed screw...

We put a clear tube from the bleed screw and ran it back to the reservoir so as ro waste as little fluid as possible.

Couldn't see any air in the fluid that came out.

Checking the hydraulic fluid revealed that to be extremely low, we added approximately 22L of hydraulic fluid.

The steering is still very stiff.

Turns out we need a power steering pump...

Any help finding a compatible one would be amazing...

White Iseki 2-65 4x4 snow A1501.

Possible part no 33-006 5757...

AGCO dealer says discontinued, and no aftermarket. Possible used one at Gratton Coule in Irma AB.

Any other leads welcome
