1655 clutch

Replacing the clutch on my 1655 diesel. Would like to your opinions on the button type clutch plate verses the standard plate and the
diaphragm pressure plate verses the standard pressure plate. I will be using this tractor mainly for round baling.

I can't say about the pressure plate, but I get most of my clutches made by Clutch Dynamics. They won't even make an organic clutch anymore. They said a button clutch will dissipate the heat and cut down on the little cracks in the flywheel. I even run button clutches in my loader tractors. They say the main thing is to have them adjusted so they separate with enough clearance when the pedal is pushed down.

I replaced clutch and pressure plate on 2-70 ( same tractor) I ended up going with the diaphram style and button clutch disc. Its a loader tractor and seems to be working well. I went the diaphram route due to broken finger adjuster on the unit I took out.
