Massey Ferguson tea20 slasher

Please excuse me if I'm asking silly questions I new to tractors in general.

Ive inherited and fully serviced a 1950s tea20 so far I've been using it for harrowing my paddocks.

Am looking at getting a slasher implement for it. I've been looking online at new and used slashers and have come across both 4ft medium and heavy duty slashers.

Can the Ferguson run a heavy duty slasher? When looking on sales websites it seems the rated hp for the heavy duty models is a bit higher around the 30-35hp mark vs the medium duty slashers rated at 20hp.

Also what are some other implementscan the tea20 run well that may be of use.

I'm looking at using the massey as my main tractor and complimenting it with a bobcat/skidsteer for heavier duty work.

Cheers

HP required to run a SLASHER.....?
Forward speed of Tractor......?
Amount of vegetation to be cut....?
Live PTO Tractor versa a NON Live PTO Tractor.....?

My TEA-20 with out LIVE PTO on a John Deere 261 Grass Groomer is excellent...as a Groomer low vegetation.
As is the Ford 2-N....:)

My TEA-20 with out LIVE PTO on a John Deere 261 Grass Groomer is USELESS in heavy vegetation....ONLY 4 speed transmission..Slower gears required.

TEA-20 on Rototiller is doable, however with lack of LIVE PTO/Dual Clutch...:(

MF 35 X....44 HP Diesel.. Dual Clutch......Excellent on Rototiller and heavy vegetation with mechanical dive ..NOT BELT DRIVE

In my opinion, a 4 or 5 foot medium duty would be my choice. A heavy duty might be too heavy for your tractor and cause the front to be too light to safely steer. Yes, your tractor would run a heavy duty model, but a medium may be a better choice.
