Hi Everyone,
I'd like to remove the belt pulley assembly from my 1949 John Deere model M so I can install a three-point hitch. Looking at the shop manual, I'm not sure what parts need to come out to avoid problems down the road. If I remove all the mounting bolts and slide the assembly out, will the oil slinger and drive gear come out with it? Will I need to go in from the front to remove any parts that might break loose and cause problems?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
