Vicon KM3200 - Need Info, Please

I'm looking at a VICON KM3200 disc mower. I'm told it has been used 8 seasons on 100 acres. Possible some cutting for neighbors too. It looks like a pretty good machine. I'd like to know opinions + and - Also, how much hp needed to run it. It seems to be a tiny bit more than 10 foot cut. It has two things I like: Power swing (easy to manuever) and it is a pull type (easy to hook up). Thanks for your thoughts. kelly

I have never run a KM3200 but I like the looks of them. I ran an old 7'10" Vicon with a 3020LP and it worked great. I think I could have pulled a bigger mower if it was not a three point hitch.

I ve never used a Vicon mower but I like the 3 blade design
I looked at one but was wanting a 9 ft machine so I passed on it and bought a Kuhn
I can pull my 9 ft Kuhn with my 52 hp Ford 4000 but the heavier weight of the Ford 5600 handles the mower better
When making sharp corner turns the mower would push the 4000 to the point I d have to hook the left brake to straighten up the turn
A nephew has a 3 point model Vicon he uses on his 7000, he likes that mower

A older model 65 pto hp tractor should handle the mower with no issues, you could get by on less hp but the machines weight becomes a safety factor when mowing at speed
