I found a John Deere model 31 disc harrow, it is 6' wide, 3 point hitch, and in good condition. This is like a finishing disc from what the man said, what would be a fair value? He asked me what i would pay, i was thinking 400?? I have no clue of the value

It appears from viewing JD model 31 parts catalog that this model disk has offset disk configuration. I've never seen that model before. It was built between '77 & '80. I think $400 would be a bargain price.

The configuration Jim shows is not a finishing disk. More of a plowing type disk for deeper tillage on lighter ground. If a lot of trash it would work reasonable depending on weight and blade size and condition.

Not a finnishing disk but commonaly called an offset disk and most are large wheel carried in at leat 19 foot or larger sizes. Very rare, Grab at any price.
