In need of YAZOO Part #1401-046 it is a stake in a DURST Gear box. There are 2 stake nuts in that box, one is for a 1" shaft and the other is for a 1 1/8" shaft. I need the 1 1/8 nut. Durst part numbers are D119 and D178 but I don't know which is which. Poulan and Husvarna use the same gear box #539000760 is their number for D119. I don't have the other one. HAVE UNIT DOWN, need help!

Does it have to be center lock? Whats the nut height? Pitch? McMaster has some top lock 1 1/8

Parts diagram says it is 1-1/8-18

Here is a different size of stake nut for reference.
They are an oddball nut. Not a deformed thread locknut.

That 700113171 refer part number for the 1-5/16 nut is an AGCO part number.
Here is a link to the stake nuts they have. But the stupidly don't show the sizes. Guess you have to google each number to find the size you need.

Double07; That is exactly what i am looking for!!!!!! I had the Agco dealer look up every nut on the site and none of them are 1 1/8 But at the begging of your post you said 1 1/8-18, where was that located??

The nut part numbers and description shows up on page six for the gearbox.

Double07: Thanks for all your bother!!! Yes I have the parts list for the gear box. But I failed to say it was 18 thread on my first post. And that is the problem. It is no longer available. I checked all my Yazoo sources and the company that bought out Durst. NO luck. I hoped that an old Yazoo dealer would see this post and have one on the shelf or box. and be glad to get rid of it.

Do you have the old one?

I bet if you have a lathe with three jaw chuck, it would be easy to turn one end off to the same as a real stake nut.

Threads to bad to fix. Shaft OK.
That's a good idea but there is not an 18 thread out there of any kind.

Get one of these and add some high-strength Loctite.

Looks like that is a common thread on some Dana Spicer axle pinion nuts, as well, 1.125'' NEF 18.

wore out; I could not believe it when I clicked on that web address. I have been all over the internet and sources from machinist. And I was on Amazon and searched for 1 1/8-18 nut and came up, nothing matched my search.
Yes I plan to use Lock-tite.
