No more Cub Cadet lawn tractors. Only
Zero turns and larger CUTractors with 65+
mower decks.
Friend was considering renewing but no
more lawn tractors.

Husqvarna quit homeowner products in 2022. The main reason being Briggs & Stratton could not supply the engines.

Locally. Lowe's, Home Depot and three local hardware stores all stopped caring anything made by Husqvarna this year. The only one left that deals in Husqvarna only offers "professional equipment".

I briefly looked at a battery powered Cub Cadet at Farm & Fleet a month ago. I just shook my head and walked away. My 1968 model 72 gear drive Cub Cadet I bought used in about 1980 and have refurbished about everything on it at least once still runs fine, the #70 Dad traded an Original for in 1965 has had 3 or 4, maybe 5 rebuilt engines, I rebuilt a 10 hp Kohler when I refurbished it 10 years ago and gave it to SON, who luckily gave it back when he sold his house, strangely enough the 982 is the Cubbie He wanted for some reason when he thought he was buying a house on an acreage couple months ago, POS Onan engine and all. My Cub Cadet TANK LZ54 has a 27 hp Kawasaki engine, I doubt I EVER have to work on it. It acts like it's just getting broken-in at 330 hours.
I can understand Cub Cadet wanting to build what sells, unfortunately Deere is making a killing selling cheap disposable mowers, I had a part-time job sorting defective parts and reworking them, their wire harnesses fall apart when you just pick them up. Way WAY too much plastic!

They are still building lawn tractors with B&S engines with 18 to 24hp. Six models, twice as many models being built with other brand engines.

Their website shows zero turns in the professional/industrial mowers line up.

The lawn tractors are in the products category but not in the industrial/profesional category.

Last week I saw Rural King is selling the lawn tractors.

I noticed 3 neighbors with new ZTs and every one is what appears to be a heavy duty Cub Cadet. Quick look they appear to be tough. Haven't looked into it as I'm not in the market.
