Years ago in 2017 I got into the world of wrenching. My grandpa gave me his old Farmall Regular he got with his farm that had been sitting in the treeline for over 60 years ago. His only condition was that I also take his old New Holland S-14 that he purchased new back when he worked for Sperry New Holland in Grand Island, NE. I was thrilled to get both projects. Since then I have restored the Farmall Regular and a multitude of other tractors and machinery, but only worked on the S-14 minimally. I am really dead set on getting this old garden tractor back on its feet. I got it running probably in 2018 and I have started it pretty much every year since then at least once. I am finally going to give it a proper engine overhaul and fix it up back to full operational position. My issue is that it doesn't have any attachments that went with it. Grandpa had a 48 mower deck on it years ago, but must've ended up scrapping it out since it is nowhere to be found on the farm. After doing some research I learned that Ariens bought out the Garden tractor line from NH in the mid 70s. Would anyone happen to have a 48 mower deck that would fit on this unit? New holland or Ariens it doesn't matter so long as it fits. Also a part number for the Ariens deck would be great too if anyone has it. I haven't had any luck finding a new deck yet so I figured I would try to find a used one.
