Well after sticker shock on the price of steel to do some patch work on the 50 inch mower deck I had a 46 G T deck that someone converted to work on the quiteline's . I org. had i ona 1450 that i redid for and old long lost friend that was pretty much down and out . 12=13 years ago i redid this 1450 for her and took it out to her farm in MO. and spent 16 days at her place fixing and repairing stuff after she lost her husband . When i got there the grass was almost as tall as i stand , i mowed cut down branches over handing the year , fixed fences , fixed her Ditz DX 90 and got it running and used it to brush hog everywhere . Fixed her Bobcat skid steer . Bit she did nt like the 46 incch deck as it would not fit between her bushes . So the next year my one friend and i went back out as he bought the 1850 Oliver that had a bad engine and gave her fair market price on a dead tractor where the local's were tryen to flim flam her and i took out the 42 inch deck and put that on the 1450. . so that is the deck i put on the 1250 . This weekend we used it the first time and after running A 1450 with the same deck in over growen grass that was almost 6b foot tall and grass in my yard that was maybe four inches tall , what a difference 2 Hp makes . It was all the 1250 could do . But it did do a nice job and what surprised me that it would go Up the steep hill off the side walk . I have mowed this yard now for well over 65 years and i have hated the HILL with a passion . The 1250 got the job done . Since my go around with the Cleveland clinic and my month and a half stay i could no longer do this mowing thing and the War Dept has been doing the lawn mowing . Now all she has to do is where i can't get the cubby into and around . and that took her about fifteen min. She was thrilled . Now to get the push mower and the cubby on the same page to height . The home made motor mounts are great , they work as well as factory and for far less then just one on the net. Time will tell how they hold up. And if i have to make up a second set they will not take as long ans design , engineering and R&D has been done . .
