Massey Ferguson Transaxle ID questions

Hi to all from newbee Jim Shea
I have a Massey Ferguson MF10 Garden tractor with what I believe to be a tecumseh peerless transaxle. The shift lever is broken and I need to find a replacement so I'm looking for the model number for the transaxle so I can find an illustrated parts breakdown with parts numbers. This model splits open vertically (it has left and right case halves instead of top and bottom case halves) and has the input pulley on the right side and the break pulley on the left side.
Also, if anyone has one and would part with the shift lever I would be interested.

If... it's a 4 speed with creeper gear beside 2d gear and has 12 tires,
probably a peerless 2100 series. Look for a tag on LH axle housing.

Ok buried in the dirt on both axle housings is; 1072-P1. Does that sound like a Peerless number?
