Got the lift back together, was thinking about giving it a quick check on the adjustment before dropping it back in. Don't know how it worked before I got it, other than that the control valve was stuck.
Is the measurement of 0.2 inches from the end of the control valve to the front face of the control valve bushing as easy as it sounds, or does this SW508 gauge do something real special? If I remove the cover from the front end of the control valve, seems to me I can easily measure this with any small depth gauge (or even a wooden match..) In particular I'm thinking about a 1/4" wide steel rule that I have with a sliding stop.
Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
