Evening all,

Rebuilding a 192 gas engine, and managed to bugger the spacer that sits behind the crankshaft pully, the one the front oil seal seals against. Anyone know where I might be able to buy one of these?

thanks,
Adam

Not sure but it sounds like you are referring to a speedy sleeve. If so, any automotive machine shop can get one for you. I recently got one for a 172 that I was rebuilding because the seal had worn into the pulley so much.

I had tossed around the idea of trying to track down a speedy sleeve, but the spacer is actually broken, right where the keyway is. I'll have to post a pic of it tonite when I get back from work.

It's interesting that you have the two piece type on a 1966. All the early ones I've seen were a one piece pully. Made it harder to install the pully without boogering up the seal.
Later ones came with the two piece - easier to install. Not sure when they changed but I'm sure it was much later than 66. If Trac1 can't fix you up I have a couple of one piece pullys and will send you one for the price of shipping.

My mistake. Looked at the wrong part. Gentleman is still searching for the correct part. He is needing a C5NE6B306A spacer I believe.

Thanks Ultradog for the offer, and Trac1 for the partnumber. I've sinse tracked one of these spacers down.

Thanks again! Now I wait patiently for the machine shop to finish up their magic: cylinders over 20, valve job, etc....
