134 sleeves

How thick are 134 sleeves?

Are .090 thick like the N ones?

Im wanting to redo my 641 engine and feel cheap :D Rather just bore the current sleeves and put pistons in it.
No reason to spend to much money when I wanna do a better camshaft for it.

The late 134 engines do not have sleaves. Of course they can be bored and fitted with sleaves.

I don't think there is much differance between the price of new sleeves and having your old ones cleaned up and bored. If your old pistons are good you could possibly reuse them in new sleeves, but if you bore your old ones out then you must buy new pistons. For the little extra cost I would certainly go with new sleeves.

My sleeves are worn. Pistons are worn probally too. I havent checked them yet to see. They more then likey have some wear.

There is also some wear on the pins.

Its still cheaper for me to buy pistons/ rings, then to buy sleeves and rings.

Machine work is free.

I did start checking the factory balance job. Rods are real close in weight, need to check the pistons yet. My 134 shook pretty bad in the upper rpms.
