WHERE TO GET A GOOD ENGINE, GAS OR DIESEL FOR A 801 172 CI?
AROUND BRANSON MO. OR TRACTOR?

I do not know of any place that far south in Misery. Ya I also live in MO the lake of the Ozarks area. There is a place on hwy 65 around Cross Timbers that may have one it is calls Cooks if I remember right. Or you might post on Craig's list that your looking for one. Of course in the long run it might be cheaper to just replace the tractor since a good block may cost as much or more then a whole tractor would. If you figure it out a true engine rebuild will cost around $1500-2500 and a rebuilt long block can be gotten for around that same money
