I have an original Ferguson two-bottom, 12 inch plow, Type 12 AO 28. This plow came with the TO-20. Anyway, its bad need of plow shares. I think the number on the share is 100962. Does anyone know where I can find a pair of these things?

Did you ever locate any plowshares? I broke one of mine and have to try to find another. Mine is a Ferguson Type 114 AO 28. Any information from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Your plow would have been sold during the Ford/Ferguson 9N era, the number you gave is a Ford share# go to your local New Holland dealer. Ferguson TO20 era plows were just model AO.

John

I have the same plow that you have and I was told recently that you could get shares at TSC.

Run a search here for "new parts". About 6 months ago a guy posted information about a MF dealer(PA I think) who had bought out some dealers and had quite a bit of NOS parts for old Ferguson tractors, perhaps he has what you need.

Just for info sake when looking to buy shares or have them made, if you want to match original and need to know what the prefixes mean after the number, the first prefix is type of share A= general purpose, B= sod or clay, E= slat
F= blackland, H= scotch, I= chilled, K= corn belt, R= general purpose, S= stubble, and second prefix is type of metal
A= cast steel, B= forged steel, C= chilled iron, D= soft center, E= carburized
So, for a Ferguson AO moldboard plow, a 14 AD-AO-130 would be a general purpose, soft center share.
Just a bit of plowpoint trivia.
