It is designed to do what Zane's Thang does. It is just done differently. Aussie dollar is quite low against the American and British currencies so their may be a price advantage.

Looks like it to me. I think how it works is that if the rear arm drops, the white cam on it lets the entire quadrant slide backwards a bit via the force of the white spring on the front. This would have the same effect as lifting the lever.
It looks pretty clever, but not sure how easy it is to unhook it.

To gain back draft control all you have to do is tighten the 4 bolts up that hold the quadrant to the body and slide the cam backwards that attaches to the left arm. About five minutes work.

Will this wear the quadrant assembly on the bolts I think it is not made to move repeatedly back and forth like that. I will be testing Zane's device on my TEA 20 and posting the results on my Yahoo Ferguson Club page later on. regards

Hey Rod,
Maybe you should get one of each and do a comparison for us. By the way it looks like lots of snow may be heading your way so here's a chance to try it out on your front blade.

For shear simplicity, effectiveness and cost, I don't think you can beat the Zane Thang
