I found a Fergusen TO-20 with a 1 year old 60" King Kutter brush hog for $2500. It needs a starter (or rebuild), but everything seems OK. I need to check all the systems, but does $2500 seem to be an OK price if it's "all there"?

I recently got a new King Kutter brush hog on sale for $495.95. It's a good brush hog. I've got a TO-20, and it's an outstanding tractor. This sounds like a good deal to me.

There have been several TO-20 ferguson tractors sell on ebay in the last few weeks. You can go to www.ebay.com and do a search for "TO-20 ferguson tractor". I would look at current auctions as well as closed ones. This should give you some good ideas as to pricing.

Yes, if tractor runs good with no smoke, and if hydraulics work ok, and tires are ok, that seems like a very good price, especially with the bush hog, which potentially is around $350 itself. Also check the steering. Most starter overhauls are in $50-80 range. My 2 cents.
