I have a 12 volt 2 terminal generator on my TO-20. The voltage regulator has 3 terminals, BAT, FIELD, ARM. I want to run headlights on my tractor and was wondering which terminal you would use. My shop manual shows a load terminal on the voltage regulator and the igniton switch running off the ARM terminal. Can anyone explain the right way my tractor should be wired?

Thanks in advance!

Take a look at these. Some thing should come close to what you have. Normally TO 20 were 6 volt positive ground.
