If you are sitting on the seat, does the wire from the far right of the rectifire run to the big terminal on the alternator or the small terminal?
Also, I want to replace my key switch with a simple two way (on and off) switch. I appreciate this is easy to do for the ignition circit (just put the switch in the wire running to the coil) but are unsure how to wire the alternator into this switch. Can this be done with just on switch or would it short? If it would short could I just put in a seperate on/off switch for the alternator? if so, in which part of the circit should I put this second switch?
Thanks
Ken
