2 holes have been drilled in front top of hood. Is this the place for a hood emblem. Does it have an airplane on the emblem.

Arnold, look in the photo section at the TO 20/30's. There is not now nor never was an ornamate such as you describe. Have a GOOD welder/body shop guy repair the hood.
enjoy the Fergie

Mike

The holes probably were for a cyclops light as seen in many English tractor photos. If there are two holes on the sides and front 0f hood then these are for mounting head lites.

I'm New at this and in fact asked simular question in reguards to three holes (Factory type) on the sides of my 1950 TO30. It does in fact have a emblem on the front attached through two holes just above the center of the grill. It simply says "Ferguson" and is approx. 2.5" X 1.25". Hope this helps.

Arnold, On Ferguson TE and TO tractors the two holes on the front of the bonnet, immediately above the grilles indicate where the Ferguson badge should be fitted. The badge bore the Ferguson signature in chrome on a light blue background, with chrome edging. The US built Fergies also had a badge on each side at the rear of the bonnet. UK built tractors didn't have the side badges.

Are those badges available as reproductions?
