I need help! We need a drawing of a delco distributor for a 1951 TO 20, but it has a z120 block. The distributor will not stay in time. It seems to move up and down. We are wondering if the camshaft is worn, but thought we would try to figure out if it is in the distributor first. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

This is what is in the parts book.
I found a place locally that rebuilds generators and such and they had no problem checking out my distributor since it is a Delco.
I don't understand why there wouldn't be a hole to check the timing through. It appears to be cast in the block on mine.
Be advised that my current tractor is my only experience so I'm sure there is a lot more for me to learn.

Good Luck Neal

I will check tonight to see if I have anything on the distributor. If your tractor is a TO-20 it should have a Z-120 block.

Neal, thanks for checking. The original block was cracked so my father-in-law put this one in many years ago. However, we have discovered that it has no port we can see the timing marks on the flywheel. this sure makes it hard to time.
