Greetings again Fergie-people. My 1959 FE35 petrol engined tractor is cutting out when facing down a gentle slope. The fuel bowl under the rear of the tank seems to not be getting enough fuel to keep the carby full. When you look into it an air void appears when the tractor is in this attitude, either moving or stationary. Is there a minimum amount of fuel one needs in the tank or is there something more sinister possibly happening inside the tank or elsewhere?
I look forward to your responses.
Peter

Try topping off the tank. My T0-20 did the same thing and the remedy was more fuel.

Frank, Thanks for the reply, I thought that may be the answer.
