Just bought me a Ferguson 30 ser #Z129-358148. Can someone tell me more about it, like is it a TO or TE, what year is it, etc.

I have a ferguson 30 tractor, The battery keeps discharging, I have replaced the batter, amp and temp gages,and the regulator. I was also told the batter cables need to be reversed. Is this true. Please help.

Hi Ken,
Is there a plate on the dashboard near where the steering column goes through? There should be some numbers there which will be the actual serial number.. From there you can figure out what year it was made. Like Bill said, Welcome. If this is your first tractor, life as you know it has suddenly changed forever. :-)
