I have a 1955 TO-35 with the 134 gas engine. I have replaced the points, condensor, plugs, wires, and distrubitor cap. I have also rebuilt the carb. I continue to have an irregular miss, particular at idle. The tractor will pull hard and dosn't seem to miss as bad at higer RPMs. I've pulled all the plug wires one at a time and the miss will become regular, as expected. Does anyone have any suggestions for an irregular miss. I run this tractor weekly so a stuck valve seems unlikely. My next move is a compression test. Thanks, Daniel

Daniel,

I have a 1955 TO-35 with the Continental Gas Engine. It was also missing very very bad. Finally it quit running all together. I have replaced the Cap, Rotor, Plugs, and put a new carb on it. It has spark (although weak) and good suction through the carb, compression is also good, yet it will not start. I would like to replace the points and condenser, however, when I take the distributor cap off, there is only the rotor. I don't see where the points are. Am I missing something? Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions for your irregular miss. When mine was running, it would miss at idle also, but a little carb adjustment seemed to help. Thanks, Mike
