Try car parts shops that deal with old British cars. This screw-in design is common to many old British cars. It may take a lot of searching. I THINK you can get a later distributor cap that takes the common push-in wires, and a non-ballast coil that takes the push-ins is a very common car part.

You might also be able to find an auto electrician who can take the old ends of the wire and attach them to a new wire. Good luck.

Whereabouts are you in Ontario, Dave? I'm in the Niagara Peninsula, near Jordan. Can you let me know who your dealer is? I'd like to deal with someone who knows these old tractors. I've found one mob in our area so far, the Case dealer "Red-Trac". Cheers.

I bought a new TE20 in 1948 and I still have the tractor. I buy the old style plug wire with the copper wire at a good parts store. I take the old wire and unsolder the little flat washer, then strip the new wire back about a 1/4" stick it through the little hole, bend it over, and solder it back on again. Simple little chore.

I purchased a new Lucas cap, points and condenser several years ago from Central Tractor in Des Moines, Iowa. I can get their 800 number for you if you want it.
