The camshaft bearing bores in the block of my Z129 engine are oversized. The front bore is .0135 O/S; centerbore is .007 O/S and the rear bore is .0025 O/S.According to the specs in the manual,my block is junk.Is this true,or can it be repaired. Thanks,Milton K.

That can be fixed. If the bores being oversized is your only problem you got no problem.

I'm pretty sure you can have a machine shop line bore the camshaft bearings and put in inserts. If someone has had this done, hopefully they will comment. Don't junk that block!
