Were you able to get any of the info you asked about last 6/24/02? Having sources for this type of engine rebuild information could help alot of people who are also thinking of changing careers. How did you find out about the location of the B&S certification school? I just refurbished my '52 TO-30 and really enjoyed the challenge. Thanks.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you - I've been back in the hospital again.

Well, I've found that the B&S website offers the most detailed information of all the small engine mfg's. They have terrific parts lists and pictures of every engine they have built since about 1970. Most of the other mfgs. want you to buy their information. Also the CD set offered by B&S is great.

As for finding out about correspondence school or on-line school I have not persued it much more. Since I put out the word that I do power equipment repair I have been very busy. And I have put my certification on the back burner.

Boogity: Thanks for the info. I'll check out the different engine mfg's. Glad to hear that just putting out the word that you do power equipment repair has brought in lots of work. Take care of yourself or you won't be able to do the type of work you enjoy.
