I have installed A new cluch and presure plate.
Having trouble with the PTO not disconnecting. Is there a adjustment for the PTO.

Short answer is no. TE/TO20 types had a single clutch only, which acted only on the gearbox (and so also the PTO assembly). If you're having trouble disconnecting the PTO, then you should also (if it's a clutch problem) have trouble engaging/disengaging gears, e.g. first.

If you can get in gear easily, as before, then it's not a clutch problem, but something else.

If you can't get a gear easily, then you may have bent some of the 'fingers' on the cover plate when re-assembling the tractor, or you may not have had the assembly properly adjusted before you put it all back together. For example, did you put the friction plate on the right way round as they are not symmetrical?

Did you adjust the clutch pedal so that you had 1/8" free play at the top of its travel?

Just some thoughts. Good luck.

Actually, the owners manual specifies 3/16" between the bottom of the foot peg and the top of the clutch lever; 1/8" works just as long as there is free travel there.

Sorry about the spelling mistakes
