I have a 1951 TO 30 that I use for just about everything and I am looking for a right angle gear drive and belt pulley to attach to the PTO. I was just given a 3pt cordwood saw (dearborn) and would like to put it to use. Does anyone have a lead on one of these at a reasonable price?

Make sure you get the right size 1 1/8 or 1 3/8 shaft the little bracket bolts on the pulley for the saw ferguson or dearborn the same set up.

Just my 2 cents worth and something I recently learned. We have both types of setups (sorry not looking to sell) and they look the same when side by side. The only difference is that one has the built in top bracket to receive the top link coming from the buzz saw. As I understand it you need this bracket to accept the Dearborn type buzz saw. I have also been told that the Dearborn and the Ferguson saws are identical and were built by the same manufacturer. The bracket on the belt pulley is actually cast into the mounting base and points to the top when bolted on the tractor. I'm still learning about Fergusons (Dad is the expert) so it is possible that other brands of saws are not set up this way and can accept the standard "Ford Type" belt pulley.

Correction to my previous post. The bracket that I previously described is in fact on the back side of the Belt Pulley Setup and not on the front side as I previously said (It pays to go back and actually take another look) It is also a separate bracket that bolts onto the top two cover plate bolts and is not cast into the plate. This might mean that it is actually part of the saw and not part of the belt pulley. Hope I didn't steer anybody wrong with my previous post. Anyway I'm still a little red-faced about this and hope this information helps.
